Amit Gupta

A Chartered Accountant and Law graduate from India, Amit started his professional journey in audit in 1997. Soon thereafter, he moved to tax advisory and litigation, representing clients at various appellate stages and High Court. Moreover, he has worked with the Big 4 Accounting Firms in tax advisory, tax litigation and finally in M&A and International tax structuring where he handled commercial law and advisory matters.

Amit moved to Mauritius and joined Abax Corporate Services (now known as Ocorian Mauritius) in 2009 as Senior Executive and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in July 2012. In addition to heading operations, he also headed Legal & Compliance and Tax functions.

During his career, Amit has advised several large MNCs, listed companies, startups on various aspects of their business, tax and structuring needs. He has also acted as Independent Director on Board of several large companies and funds and continues to do so. Amit has been part of Tax Committee of Mauritius Finance and contributes to the industry cause. He is also a founder member of Indian Business Council, Mauritius. Amit enjoys the respect and appreciation of industry peers.

Amit is presently the Group Chairman and he imparts his wisdom and experience to the AMG Family.

Meenakshi Saxena

Meenakshi is a law graduate registered with the Bar Council of India. She embarked on her professional journey in 2001, starting in the electronic media industry before transitioning to the hospitality industry in India.

In 2009, Meenakshi ventured overseas and served as a Senior Marketing Consultant at Veritas Middle East WLL, an event and media company located in Bahrain. Her outstanding performance landed her the position of Vice-President Investments at Signature Group, an investment firm with projects in Africa and India, where she worked in the Mauritius office.

Meenakshi joined AMG Group in 2018, where she specialises in international legal and compliance matters and serves as a director on several boards. Her diverse and extensive experience has brought tremendous value to the team, and her upbeat attitude and dynamic approach to work never fail to brighten the workplace.

Priscille Koenig

Priscille is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries, UK, and completed her professional studies in London while working at Coopers & Lybrand. She returned to Mauritius in 1984 and joined the newly formed Roger de Chazal & Partners (RdC&P), later known as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

She was involved in the setting up of the company secretarial department (CSD) of RdC&P which she led for many years. The CSD of RdC&P / PwC set the standard in Mauritius for company secretarial matters relating to the Companies Act 1984 and pioneered various tasks relating to listing of companies including, amongst other, the drafting of listing particulars, carrying out the share registry function, etc.

In 2006, the CSD of PwC was transferred to Abax Corporate Services (now known as Ocorian Mauritius) and Priscille took up a new role by leading the Compliance and Risk Department. She was responsible for training delivery relating to company secretarial matters and AML & CFT laws and regulations. She was also the MLRO of Abax / Ocorian. Priscille eventually held the post of Chief Risk Officer until her resignation from Abax / Ocorian in 2016.

Priscille still acts as director on several global business companies and continues to provide guidance on company secretarial and risk related matters. Priscille gracefully agreed to embark on the AMG Services journey and her vast experience and knowledge is a cherished asset for the company.
